It is what is happening

God is casting the nets

For His children to return. 1

“This is it,” confirmed Alfredo, “further on, Divine justification will ask, ‘Who are you? Are you Mr. Lucifer, who rebelled so long ago?’ Even knowing that these fallen angels are sons who have power and that God is not going to discard a son only because he erred, he will have to roll around until once again he sees the light. Is that not so?”

When the conversation turned to those events that marked the transition phase between Colônia 5,000 and Rio do Ouro, a strong energy was felt. Padrinho Alfredo, now one of the leaders of the movement, was finishing his memories with the last words pronounced by the being named Tranca-Rua on the day of his conversion.

“Tranca-Rua said, ‘Make a house to give light to all spirits that will come. Work honestly for their healing, otherwise everyone will lose. Make a house even if it is the size of a matchbox.’”

“From this was born the Star House!” I exclaimed.

“Yes, the first one was in the forest at Rio do Ouro, the one you know. Afterward we built one here in Mapiá.”

I left there that night full of thoughts. The theme of the confrontation between God and Satan was indeed very delicate and as old as human history, but even today analysis and understanding of this battle can bring forth precious keys to self-knowledge and inner illumination. On many occasions when this theme was mentioned I had felt a certain indulgent mocking from some people. Really, it is much easier to suppose we only are going to deal with the higher spiritual plane in our spiritual path. But we should remember to help those who abjectly fall. This is called charity. This is why Christ fought against his tempter: to have the power to expel him from us and others. Jesus lived with prostitutes, ate at fishermen’s tables, and was crucified between two thieves. As in the image of the sun that dries all things used by Padrinho Sebastião, Christ did not become impure from his actions. On the contrary, many had the chance to be healed and sanctified by the presence of this Son of Love during his brief passage on earth, some two thousand years ago. Now I was bearing witness to something very similar.
